Welcome to Just Popping Out. My name is Nancy Wheatland and I'm based in Kington in Herefordshire. I provide antenatal classes for prospective parents, which are fun, interactive and realistic.

I am a qualified midwife with over 30 years experience, who enjoys preparing "parents to be" for labour and beyond and am registered with the Federation of Antenatal Educators (FEDANT Registration number 11826).

The thought of having a baby can be frightening so my aim is to empower you with the information to make your antenatal time and labour a practical, positive experience that will enable you to manage your fears.

The classes and workshops are designed to start from your 30th week of pregnancy. You can choose between a comprehensive five week course, a four hour labour workshop, a two hour "refresher" class or one to one private antenatal classes in the comfort of your home.

My antenatal classes will be relaxed, informative and give you many tips and coping strategies for the birth and what comes after. This will assist you in making informed decisions with your midwife about your care in labour.
